🎮 Secure Boot

This page explains how to disable Secure Boot.

You should already be in BIOS because of the last step.

1. Access UEFI/BIOS Settings:

   • Restart your computer.

   • During the startup process, repeatedly press the key that corresponds to accessing the UEFI/BIOS settings. Common keys include Esc, Del, F1, F2, F10, F12. Consult your computer's manual or check the screen during startup for the specific key.

2. Navigate to Secure Boot Settings:

   • Once in the UEFI/BIOS settings, look for an option related to "Secure Boot." This is usually found in the "Boot" or "Security" section.

3. Disable Secure Boot:

   • Locate the "Secure Boot" option and set it to "Disabled" or a similar option. You may need to enter a password or confirmation depending on your system.

4. Save Changes and Exit:

   • Save the changes you made and exit the UEFI/BIOS settings. This is typically done by navigating to the "Save & Exit" or a similar section and choosing the option to save changes and restart.

5. Confirm Changes:

   • During the next startup, you might see a notification about changes to Secure Boot. Confirm the changes if prompted.
